Summary:As a PHP & Python Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining web applications and backend systems. You will leverage your expertise in PHP and Python to build scalable, high-performance applications while collaborating with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives. 

What you will do:

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side web applications using PHP and Python.
• Architect, build and integrate scalable APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange across systems.
• Develop, test, and deploy APIs using Python, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
• Optimize application performance for speed, scalability, and resource efficiency.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across the application stack.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and manage databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Implement security best practices to safeguard system integrity and data protection.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and apply relevant advancements to projects.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, processes, and solutions for future reference.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and high code quality.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 3-7  years of experience in PHP and Python development.
• Hands-on experience with modern PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony) and Python frameworks (Django, Flask).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Experience in database management, including query optimization.
• Expertise in RESTful API development and integration.
• Proficiency in version control systems (Git).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for automated software deployment.
• Experience in data analysis and machine learning using Python.
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Travel Requirements:

• Willingness to travel and work out of our Chennai office 4-5 days per week.
