The Office of Digital Transformation at Lam Research is responsible for the creation of next generation business process and accelerated adoption of technology across the company. The Digital Transformation, Senior BSA for Knowledge Management is a unique opportunity to transform a market leading semiconductor company to scale for past and future growth at an unprecedented time in our industry.​​​​​​​

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design and development of a knowledge strategy & framework aligned with the Digital Transformation principles & business strategy
• Transform the way Lam uses digital tools and systems to better enable our operations, giving our employees & customers better tools and data for maximum efficiency
•  Work as a partner to lead transformation projects and collaborate with cross functional /technical team, business teams and external suppliers/vendors as needed
• Drive implementation of new systems with internal and external teams, define strategy of existing systems and effectively communicate gaps.
• Responsible for capturing and ensuring functional changes are captured as per Lam standards and quality of deliverables.
• Responsible for capturing business process, requirements, solution designs and supporting UAT as required
• Other Job Responsibilities:
• Re-imagine processes and protocols for storing information, making it accessible, controlling access and capturing new knowledge
•  Identify & recommend best in breed Knowledge Management tools to harness cross-functional data making it easily accessible & usable
• Advocate for KM and the use of standard approaches across teams, functions, locations, and/or business units
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure enterprise technology reflects knowledge flow processes and KM activities are integrated into digital platforms
• Support Platform and vendor selection to increase customer value through better outcomes
• Develop business case, Conduct research, data analysis, and provide data to support solution recommendations

Who We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or related field. MBA or master’s preferred
• 15+ years’ experience implementing and supporting enterprise applications as technology partner for business
• 8+ years proven experience in Knowledge Management, strong knowledge of  systems and tools, and improvement initiatives including experience in process digitalization and digital transformation in leading/fast growth companies
• Experience implementing global knowledge management strategies processes, and platforms for complex, high growth companies specially manufacturing to support business transformation
• Experience driving requirements, solution and UAT processes with business and development teams
• Understanding of best practices in the industry and application to real life
• Proficient knowledge of KM systems implementation and development life cycles.
• Deep understanding of differences in cloud versus on-prem platforms
• Experience in managing end-to-end KM transformations and deep experience in Knowledge management technical solutions like Content Management Systems (like contentful, lifreray or similar), customer Portal (AEM or similar), Search technology
• Experience with platform and vendor selection
• Experience with identity management, integration solutions as it relates to Knowledge management platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in consulting firm Experience in high growth, complex companies
• AI-Machine Learning concepts, applications and experience with ML technology
• Experience with SAP preferred or other ERP
• Proficient in Powerpoint, and knowledge of Scrum or waterfall methodologies
• Experience with reporting solutions

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
