Overview
The Director of Data Management and Delivery will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of data delivery to internal and external stakeholders. This role involves defining data delivery strategies, leading a team of data professionals, collaborating with business stakeholders, and ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our enterprise data infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Data Strategy and Innovation:
- Develop and implement comprehensive data delivery strategies aligned with business goalsEvaluate and implement new technologies and tools to improve data delivery processes and infrastructure
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and eliminating bottlenecks in data delivery processes
- Establish a forward-looking roadmap for data delivery initiatives that leverage cutting-edge technologies
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide hands-on as well as senior-level technical guidance and mentorship to a team of data analysts and data engineers
- Strong domain knowledge and tactical experience in the Azure/MS SQL space
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks associated with data delivery projects
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust ETL processes ensuring data is accurately extracted, transformed, and loaded
- Experience supporting an enterprise level data infrastructure
- Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to deeply understand their data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Communicate complex data insights and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Support the process of documenting detailed business requirements/user stories from stakeholders
- This role requires a highly technical and experienced leader who can drive data delivery initiatives, manage complex data infrastructure, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of developing and implementing comprehensive data delivery strategies aligned with business goals.
- 5 years in a leadership role focused on innovative data solutions.
- Candidate will have a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud-based data platforms, with a passion for emerging technologies. Azure experience is required.
- Proficient in Agile methodologies and project management tools, with a track record of delivering complex projects successfully.
- Ability to think strategically and drive innovative solutions that align with the company’s long-term vision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences

The salary for this position is $180,000-$200,000. We recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company. The quoted salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
