Senior Tech Lead, Data Platform

We are looking for talented and passionate individuals to join our Secure Operations & Data Solutions team! This role involves leading the Data Platform Team in DCO. You will be responsible for the data platform that supports multiple data domains, providing a unified governance solution for all data and AI assets, including files, tables, machine learning models, and dashboards in the Consumer Solutions' Databricks Lakehouse Platform & Gen AI (Data Intelligence Platforms). You will actively contribute to data democratization across Consumer Solutions and Fortum. Your role is to understand changes in markets, competition, technology, and customer behavior and turn them into decisions and execution that support all our teams to succeed. In this role, you will:

• Leading the data engineering team and collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure technical excellence, using the right tools and technologies to support the team to deliver faster.
• Be responsible for overall system availability and compliance.
• Manage and coach team performance and wellbeing.
• Manage systems, licenses, budget, costs, and technology roadmap within the team scope.
• Ensure that the solutions follow Fortum policies and guidelines regarding architecture, development practices, privacy, security, etc.
• Collect functional and non-functional, security, compliance, and availability requirements from business units.

To excel in this role, you are expected to be:

• A bachelor's or master's degree holder in computer science, business administration, or another relevant area.
• Experienced in IT and function/business/industry.
• Experienced in leading teams.
• Experienced in SQL, Python, and data pipeline tools.
• Knowledge on Azure data tools like data factory, databricks, datalake is a plus.
• Maintaining role-based competence and training regularly.
