What You'll Do

We are currently seeking a Graphics & Data Manager, who will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all graphics systems and data required for the accurate and efficient manufacturing of custom apparel orders are complete and error-free. This role focuses on reducing processing time, improving data integrity, and enhancing overall production efficiency. The position is also responsible for managing a team and implementing process improvements that support business growth and operational excellence.

 

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Ensure all graphics and data required for manufacturing orders are accurate, complete, and available within established timelines to minimize production delays.
  • Develop and track key performance metrics such as art turn times, data processing accuracy, and coordination efficiency to measure and improve pre-production effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with IT, Engineering, and Production teams to analyze and optimize data management systems (SAP, Filemaker, Production Reports, etc.), implementing new technologies or system upgrades as needed.
  • Directly manage a team of 20-30 employees, ensuring workload balance, cross-training, and professional development to support business needs and enhance team performance.
  • Conduct regular in-plant Gemba walks with Engineering to identify process inefficiencies and drive improvements in graphics and data workflows.
  • Ensure digital databases and archives are protected against security breaches and data losses.
  • Work closely with sales, design, and production teams to resolve order discrepancies, streamline workflows, and align pre-production processes with manufacturing capabilities.

 

What We're Looking For

For this role a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of strong experience in graphic production, data systems management, or product design within a manufacturing environment.

 

 Other qualifications include:

 

  • Experience with manufacturing techniques and processes for decorating or embellishing consumer products is preferred.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Filemaker, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Familiarity with database management, automation tools, and process optimization methodologies is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess system performance and implement data-driven improvements.
  • Proven leadership and coaching abilities to develop a high-performing team.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with internal teams and external vendors effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and willingness to adapt to new technologies and processes.

This role manages a team of 20-30 employees and is responsible for hiring, training, performance evaluations, and overall team development. The Manager, Graphics & Data is expected to foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational efficiency, ensuring alignment with company policies and business objectives.

 

 

What We’ll Provide

 

A reasonable estimate of the pay range is $75K - $100K per year at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and/or training. Please note that the range details reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program.
