Great! We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Global Commercial Performance Team to support the DACH Region to achieve their goals and ambitions. The role requires close collaboration and interaction with the DACH team while following directions and aligning with the Performance team.

About the role

As a Commercial Business Analyst, you will join a very international team and take the lead in generating insights to support decision-making in the DACH region. This position is remote-friendly within Germany and you will report to the Associate Director, Head of Commercial Performance.

  • Design and develop dashboards to provide the DACH team with quick access to data

  • Perform data quality and validation, build reports, set performance targets, track KPIs, monitor progress, and provide insights to drive business growth

  • Analyse critical metrics and conduct deep dive analysis on a wide range of commercial topics to support the decision-making process 

  • Support DACH demand, financial forecasting, and business planning and ensure alignment between commercial, finance, and supply departments

  • Support performance review elaborating and combining data extracted from internal and external systems (Veeva CRM, Dynamics, Wholesalers reports, etc.)

  • Track sales performance and product profitability for the DACH region by leveraging market, customer, and competition insights to generate actionable recommendations at all stages of the lifecycle

  • Train stakeholders in the use of Power BI report, provide ongoing support to ensure understanding, and collect regional data needs for the acquisition of external data

  • Preferably an academic quantitative degree (MSc) in Econometrics/Economy, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or any other related field with a strong emphasis on quantitative analysis

  • 4+ years of experience working in the field of Data & Analytics or Business Analysis

  • Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in using reporting/visualization tools (Power BI) and CRM SF are necessary, and knowledge of SQL and Python is a plus

  • Excellent analytical skills and numerical reasoning

  • Previous similar experience in the Pharma/Biotech sectors
