Job Summary:
We are excited to introduce a new opportunity for an experienced Master Data Management professional to take on a key leadership role in the optimization and management of material master data across our organization. In this position, you will ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of master data management practices in accordance with established governance standards. You will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to understand business needs and drive initiatives that align with our master data governance and strategy.

Welcome to Our Team
We are the Information Technology (IT) organization of our Animal Health (AH) division. Within IT, our team is responsible for partnering with business leaders to provide technology solutions that enable AH to be agile, data-focused, and ensure reliability of customer data. Presented position reports into the AH IT Master Data Management and Operations team, as part of the Strategy Realization Office.
Responsibilities:
Establish and enforce governance protocols for product master data setups and maintenance to ensure data accuracy and consistency across the regions.
Regularly review and update procedures to align with organizational policies and ensure compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support material setups, ensuring alignment with the company's defined master data governance and strategy.
Actively participate in project meetings and provide insights to streamline material setup and change processes.
Support data quality measures and ensure adherence to global quality standards through regular audits and assessments.
Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance data quality.
Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for new sites onboarded in the region, ensuring a smooth transition and effective use of material master data processes.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to newly onboarded sites to facilitate seamless operations.
Stay updated on the latest technological advancements in material master data management and evaluate new tools and applications that could enhance operational efficiency.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 10 years of experience with SAP and Material Master Data Management.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing/Supply Chain Platform areas or Divisional IT environments.
- Proficiency in English and French, both verbal and written, is required.
Additional Skills:
- Proven track record as a Master Data Professional in the pharmaceutical, consumer manufacturing, or related industries, with in-depth knowledge of data and business processes and systems.
- Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate complex situations, integrating and synthesizing data for comprehensive insights.
- A self-starter with high standards of excellence and an innovative mindset.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and effectively influence stakeholders and business strategies.
- Ability to navigate cross-divisional initiatives, coordinate projects and processes across regional and global boundaries, and build effective cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction at all organizational levels.
- A collaborative team player who values collective achievements and promotes team diversity.
