UPS is constantly on the move, also in the field of digitization and automation. As a Data Analyst you will enhance our distribution and logistics network by monitoring and analyzing operational performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving continuous improvement through data-driven insights. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will provide actionable recommendations that elevate service metrics and boost operational efficiency.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Monitoring & Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to operational performance, compliance metrics, and financial outcomes to support informed decision-making processes.
  • Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to operations and compliance, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Operational Support: Collaborate with the Operations team to identify trends, variances, and areas for enhancement, ensuring that service metrics are consistently achieved daily.
  • Training Implementation: Contribute to the development and delivery of training materials focused on operational processes, compliance requirements, and best practices for both internal teams and external partners.
  • Customer Assistance: Address customer inquiries regarding operational processes and compliance-related information, delivering prompt and accurate responses to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Aid in the implementation of compliance protocols and conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with various departments, including Logistics, Finance, and Customer Service, to gather data, share insights, and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.
     

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within an operations or supply chain environment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present data to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards within the retail or logistics sectors is a plus.
