Prompt Engineer

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with product and data science teams to craft high quality prompts

• Create and maintain a set of test prompts and responses for generative AI, evaluating results for quality and accuracy

• Review and score large language model outputs based on safety, cohesiveness and applicability

• Establish safeguards to mitigate malicious activity and prevent offensive outputs and harmful biases

• Conduct user research to refine prompts and improve generative AI performance

Ideal Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Communications, information technology or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Hands-on experience with prompt management workflows, including creation, testing, version control, and optimization using tools like AWS Bedrock, LangSmith, and other orchestration frameworks

• Proven ability to edit and refine content for clarity, accuracy, and tone

• Ability to design prompts and find creative ways to exercise generative AI systems

• Experience in natural language processing and prompt authoring using tools such as ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini

• Ability to develop automations in Java, Groovy, Javascript or Typescript

• Experience using tools such as JIRA and familiarity with the software development lifecycle

Nice to Have:

• Experience with marketing automation software and content management

• Experience with data driven marketing, analytics and business intelligence
