Job Title: Client Development Analytics Intern

Location: Belfast

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Client Development Analytics (CDA) Intern to join our Customer Analytics Product team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team that focuses on leveraging customer data to drive insights and improve client engagement strategies.

You’ll gain hand-on experience in data-analysis, customer segmentation and performance measurement while contributing to meaningful projects that influence how we engage with our clients across their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Assist in analysing customer behaviour, trends and engagement patterns to uncover actionable insights.

  • Lead Prioritisation Support: Help identify and prioritise high-quality leads using data-driven methodologies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Campaign Performance Measurement: Support the team in evaluating the effectiveness of outreach and marketing campaigns, identifying areas for optimisation.

  • Customer Segmentation: Contribute to developing and refining customer segmentation models to enhance targeting strategies.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across sales, marketing and product teams to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Dashboard Creation: Assist in building and maintaining dashboards and reports to visualise key metrics and performance indicators.

  • Ad-hoc Projects: Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed, contributing to the overall goal of the CDA Pod.


 

Who We’re Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or related field

  • Strong Analytical skills with a passion for solving complex problems using data

  • Strong theoretical knowledge of statistics techniques and the application e.g. probability, regression, logistic regression, parametrics and non-parametrics tests, ANOVA, chi-square 

  • Proficiency in analytical tools such as SQL, Python (Numpy, SciPy, Pandas and scikit-learn) or R, and experience with data visualisation tools like Tableau or Looker.

  • Data cleaning, manipulation and preparation for data analysis 

  • Familiarity with machine learning techniques supervised (e.g. Random forest, Xgboost, KNN) and unsupervised (e.g. clustering) and dimensionality reduction (e.g. PCA)

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to present findings clearly.

  • Team player with a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with CRM systems 

  • Familiarity with relational and non-relational database

  • Experience with cloud environment GCP, AWS or Azure

  • Knowledge of  time-series analysis  

  • Knowledge of Commodity and Financial Derivatives Markets, especially in futures and options would be a plus
