Data Engineer

Role Summary

We are looking for a data engineer with at least 3 years of work experience to join our Data and Analytics team. We are a diverse team of data practitioners solving various fun problems; answer to company needs , everything from Data science to Machine learning to advance analytics and insights.

Job Responsibilities

•    Strong proficiency in SQL
•    Proficiency in software engineering in at least one programming language like Python and/or others (e.g. for writing efficient procedure/UDF/Streamlit app) etc.
•    Hands-on experience in building data pipelines: ETL and ELT
•    Hands-on experience with Snowflake (or similar)
•    Knowledge and hands-on experience about data warehousing and data modelling
•    Knowledge about data lake
•    Familiar with Cloud platforms like AWS (or similar), e.g. Lambda, S3
•    Git (we use Gitlab)
•    English communication skills, both written and spoken

Merit

•    Data mesh (Dremio, Witboost or similar)
•    Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in AWS infrastructure like IaC, IAM, SQS, SNS, networking etc.
•    Deep software engineering skills
•    Software- or database- testing (TDD)
•    REST APIs
•    JavaScript/Typescript (some apps and procedures are written in JS)
•    DBT
•    Kafka stream
•    Matillion or similar
•    Scrum, agile and JIRA
