Job Description:

The Manager, Data Products & Analytics will report to OneOncology’s  Director, Data Products & Analytics. This role will lead projects carried out by teams across the organization by generating insights and delivering actionable information to OneOncology and its partner practices, with a focus on finance & accounting, managed care, and revenue cycle management. This role with interact with revenue and accounting teams, payer relations, and revenue cycle management to deliver data driven information to leaders.  This role will be instrumental in designing and deploying the analytics and tools we use to assess practice performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop strategy. By serving as an analytical thought partner for multiple teams, this role will have a high level of visibility across the organization, both with internal partner practice leadership. 

Responsibilities 

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand teams’ analytical needs. 

  • Advising internal and external teams on how available data can be used to provide insight. 

  • Designing and building metrics, KPIs, and scalable data tools to help senior leaders understand performance at our partner practices. 

  • Analyzing performance in key metrics and KPIs and identifying trends, outliers, and opportunities for improvement; presenting these findings to senior leaders.

  • Building strategic frameworks that will be used to define key bodies of work.

  • Leading analytical components of key bodies of work that cross functional areas and alignment on methodology such as AR.

  • Managing relationships with external partners, including data vendors.

  • Supervise and develop a team of analysts.

  • Other duties as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.

Key Competencies 

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of the healthcare industry 

  • Experience working with healthcare datasets 

  • Ability to scope and lead cross-functional projects within a matrixed organization 

  • An analytical mindset and the determination to find pragmatic solutions 

  • Experience leading a team 

  • Demonstrated proficiency in SQL 

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint 

  • Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree 

  • 5+ years’ work experience; experience working for a consulting firm, health insurer, healthcare provider organization, or other organization within the healthcare industry
