Data Engineer Process Mining

And your role is crucial in this mission! You are the one who will elevate our team in data-driven work and the use of process mining, delivering optimal value in optimizing our processes for our customers, advisors, and colleagues. Together with your team, you ensure that our services become faster, more reliable, and more predictable.

What you are going to do
You are an enthusiastic and experienced developer in the field of process mining. As a Data Engineer Process Mining, you are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining process mining insights in our process mining tool Celonis. You will work on creating dashboards and analyzing data to gain insights and improve the efficiency of business processes.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing process mining insights within the mortgage chain
• Creating dashboards and visualizations using our process mining tool, Celonis, to effectively communicate process information to colleagues in the teams and to the business
• Integrating new data sources and ensuring that the data in our process mining tool is complete, relevant, and reliable
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of process mining methodologies and techniques within the team
• Collaborating with colleagues within and outside your team, such as data analysts and business analysts, to design and implement the best process solutions
• Supporting users in understanding and using the developed process mining insights

• Salary between €3,794 - € 5,421 gross per month based on a 40-hour workweek, depending on your knowledge and experience. It is also possible to work 36 or 38 hours per week

We have designed our offices to provide suitable spaces for all types of work. The location for this position is in Rotterdam, where you will work with your team 2 days a week.

Who you are

As a Data Engineer Process Mining, you have a passion for data and using data to analyze (digital) workflows and translate business needs and process optimizations into concrete requirements. You have solid experience with process mining tools and the experience and drive to optimize and digitize processes. You support process optimizations and improvements with concrete numbers and figures. Collaboration comes naturally to you, and you communicate well and clearly, establishing connections with your immediate colleagues, users, and other stakeholders. You are engaged, proactive, and take ownership. You currently reside in the Netherlands. Additionally, you have:

• A completed HBO or University degree
• Minimum of 4 years of work experience, with at least 2 years in a similar role
• Experience with process mining tools and techniques (preferably Celonis) to recognize and analyze process optimizations and translate them into concrete and demonstrable improvements
• Understanding of business processes and the ability to analyze and comprehend complex digitized processes based on data and data flows. Preferably in the mortgage process
• Knowledge and experience in working in an Agile environment where collaboration and continuous improvement are key

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, including DevOps Engineers and Customer Journey specialists (product and process managers). The team's mission is to optimize the mortgage processes at Nationale-Nederlanden.
