You will be working for a world class AI applications and systems team. This is a new team with the opportunity to play a foundational role. You will be working on the data infrastructure and software-as-a-service backend for a hybrid-LLM system. GSMA deals with highly technical data posing some of the most challenging NLP problems. We are moving from a successful proof-of-concept to beta-product phase.

About the Team

 

The team has a strong AI backbone. We are recruiting 2 key members; one concentrating on data and infrastructure (this role) and the one role will be concentrating on AI algorithm optimisation. 

 

About the Role

 

The key accountabilities include scaling our current data processing pipelines, laying down the framework for a Microservices based back-end for a SAAS product, mastery and responsibility for CD/CI processes. 

The success for this role involves playing a key role in helping us transition from the proof-of-concept phase to a successful product launch.

About You

  • This is a hands-on programming role.You will have a broad range of expertise in the at least two of the three relevant domains (listed above) with supporting demonstrable experience

  • You will be highly competent in either Python or C++, with at least basic competency in both

  • Ideally you would have some expertise working on LLM, RAG or Knowledge Graph systems or demonstrating a significant interest in these areas

  • Expertise in cloud-based computing would be of interest. However, our current phase of development prioritises on premises computing

  • We are open to any candidates that have followed a non-conventional career path, or from the video games industry or academia 

  • A background in electronics or hardware is a plus. Any knowledge of Telecommunications, RAN and its supporting hardware would be valuable

  • Experience of or a general knowledge of patents would also be of interest

  • You will be expected to be highly motivated and learn the appropriate skill-sets where required
