Ecommerce Data Analyst works closely with Product Owners and eCommerce Developers to enhance tracking implementation. An important part of this role is to support GA end users and to utilize Google Tag Manager to fulfill business needs of different stakeholders. 
This role also utilizes various data sources (behavioral, transactional, customer related) to understand how customers are engaging with the site and recommends improvements. They also design and create key analysis and bring data insights to stakeholders.

Main responsibilities:
  • Designs measurement plan and utilizes Google Tag Manager to implement events and documents it; 

  • Supports testing to ensure that data layer items are developed correctly and works on troubleshooting technical issues in the GTM setup; 

  • Manages GTM & GA accounts;

  • Supports Google Analytics end users;

  • Performs analysis on existing customer, transactional and web data and identifies business opportunities and challenges focusing on company performance and customer behavior, develops reporting solutions;

  • Provides ad-hoc support for projects and initiatives where problem-solving and/or analytical skills are needed; 

  • Supports building and executing an A/B testing process;

  • Continuously develops knowledge, tracks and implements latest trends; 

  • Provides training on web data and reports;

  • Follows data governance standards; 

  • Complies with IT quality policy; 

Qualifications & skills:
  • Very good working knowledge of Google Analytics ((including GA4) & Google Tag Manager

  • 3+ years of experience working as an eCommerce data analyst or in similar role; Graduate of Digital Marketing, Mathematics, Econometrics, Quantitative Methods, Computer Science or related discipline

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;

  • Working knowledge of Excel

  • Basic working knowledge of SQL

  • Knowledge of BigQuery will be a plus

  • Hands-on Eexperience with developing dashboards in data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI);

  • Experience with Hotjar, Clarity (or equivalent) is a plus;

  • Business acumen and strategic understanding

  • Great communication and presentation skills

  • Results-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail (project management experience is a plus);

  • A team player able to build relationships;

  • Good interpersonal communication skills;

  • Fluency in written and spoken English;
