Job Description

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead the effort of building a semantic model/ontology around the LEGO Product Masterdata and related digital assets in the context of digital transformation.

  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify and define key data elements and relationships within the product and creative works' ecosystem.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for the ontologies and semantic models to facilitate understanding and usage across the organization.

  • Provide training and support to team members and partners on the use and benefits of semantic models and knowledge graphs.

  • Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to improve the development and management of knowledge graphs.

  • Ensure alignment of the semantic models with industry standards.

Our department is dedicated to the creation of innovative digital products, spanning product lifecycle management, workflow management and digital content creation and distribution. We operate at the intersection of innovation, creativity, and technology, committed to delivering solutions that drive excellence across different domains in the LEGO Group.

Do you have what it takes?
  • Proven expertise in Semantic Modelling and Ontology Design using open standards.

  • Proficiency in RDF, OWL, and SHACL for developing and managing ontologies.

  • Experience in data governance with knowledge graphs and semantic models.

  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and TypeScript.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Understanding Domain Driven Design, loosely coupled components, and event driven architecture.

  • Travel 15-20 days a year (dependent on need).

  • Communicate effortlessly in English both written and verbally.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Metaphactory or similar platforms for managing and visualizing knowledge graphs.

  • Familiarity with other semantic web technologies and tools.

  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies quickly.

  • Experience working directly with senior IT groups in an advisory role.
