We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with up to 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in CI/CD, infrastructure as code (laC), and automation across cloud platforms. Multi-cloud experience is an asset. Knowledge in MLOps and DevSecOps practices is a strong plus. You will collaborate with development teams to streamline deployments and ensure security is integrated into the CI/CD pipelines. Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and monitoring tools is highly desired. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential for this role. Fresh graduates are most welcome to apply.Roles and responsibilities
Develop and manage automated CI/CD pipelines for efficient software deployment across various cloud platforms.
Collaborate with development teams to plan and explore application/software requirements from Infrastructure side and integrate DevSecOps methodologies into project lifecycles.
Manage and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, or ARM templates to automate and standardize infrastructure.
Monitor and optimize system performance, addressing issues promptly to ensure security, reliability, and high uptime.
Oversee deployed infrastructure: including container orchestration and management using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm charts, and managed services like AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) for streamlined application delivery.
Manage and scale IaaS VMs to support diverse infrastructure needs effectively.
Drive automation, security, and scalability improvements across cloud infrastructure and deployment processes.
Business Continuity: Support business and leadership with business continuity programs with regards to infrastructure operations like backup, restore and disaster recovery site application environment setup and upkeep.
PwC Polices: Adhere to established firm policies, ITGC controls and enforces information security policies as applicable to the deployed infrastructure environment.
IT Risk: Support business and leadership management of data risk from an infrastructure standpoint within the application environments under management.
Documentations: Document processes and infrastructure activities to enable periodic reviews.
New Initiatives: Coordinate and support with the wider regional and global infrastructure initiatives applicable to the infrastructure under team management.
Stay updated with DevOps trends and incorporate best practices into cloud operations, security, and infrastructure management, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering/science or equivalent.
Required Skill Sets
Cloud Platforms: Knowledge of at least one cloud platform (Azure, Google Cloud or AWS), with experience in managing multi-cloud environments being a plus.
CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps Pipelines, Cloud Triggers or GitHub Actions to automate software deployment processes.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Knowledge of tools like Terraform or similar to automate and manage cloud resources is a plus.
Containerization & Orchestration: Understanding of Docker and the basics of container orchestration using tools like Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE are a plus). Understanding Helm charts for managing Kubernetes applications is a strong plus.
Operating System: Strong foundation in Linux (preferred) and basic Windows server management.
Networking Basics: Understanding of DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancers, firewalls, and VPNs.
Automation & Scripting: Scripting skills using Bash, Python, or PowerShell to automate infrastructure and workflow processes.
Monitoring & Security: Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog, for system monitoring and troubleshooting.
Version Control & Collaboration: Hands on experience with version control systems like Git and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
