Job Description:

 

Python Developer (4 to 8 years )

 

We are seeking a highly skilled Python developer with visualization experience of 4-8 years to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Power BI, QlikSense, Python, ETL concepts & SQL.

The Engineer will work closely with our key stakeholders in both business and IT to help narrate stories with data and visualize insights in a compelling and insightful way that enables business decision-making. He/she will be expected to design and build analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

 

• Create complex power BI reports end-to-end - model the data and configure visualization via DAX measures etc.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to define data requirements
• Ensuring data security and compliance
• Communicate with key stakeholders to drive clarification of requirements and to promote UX designs and solutions
• Support the design, e.g., by analyzing user journeys and drive towards simplification and automation
• Enable high quality & compelling story telling through creation of strong, simple to understand data visualizations
• Document technical solution design and strategy documentation.
• Troubleshooting and optimizing Power BI solutions
• Design, develop, and optimize Qlik Sense applications and dashboards.
• Python development experience
• Mentoring and coaching junior developers
• Is a good communicator, great documentation skills.
• Has an agile mindset, can work with PO/PM to break down complex requirements into an MVP functionality, and then deliver enhancements every sprint

 

Required Skills

 

• 4 to 6 years of experience as a Power BI developer with excellent track record
• Expert in DAX, Data Modeling, ETL processes, Implementing Row Level Security, Power BI Service (Publishing reports, managing roles, Scheduling refresh, Creating/Managing App), Performance Optimization, Incremental refresh, Visualization Techniques, Bookmarks
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable data models
• In-depth knowledge of data integration techniques and tools
• Experience with data pipeline orchestration and automation
• Proficiency in SQL and data warehouse concepts
• Expertise in performance tuning and optimization of Power BI reports and SQL queries
• Qlik Sense architecture and Associative Engine
• ETL (Qlik Scripting, QVDs) and Visualization techniques.
• Data modeling best practices (Star schema, Snowflake, etc.)
• Qlik expressions (Set analysis, Aggregation functions, Calendar functions, Chart exp, Apply map etc.)
• Develop custom extensions (JavaScript, HTML, and CSS)
• Server Administration (QMC, user license handling etc.)
• NPrinting
• Ability to architect end-to-end BI solutions, including data ingestion, storage, and presentation layers
• Python development experience with exposure to frameworks such as Django & Flask
• Familiarity with advanced analytics and machine learning concepts for enhanced data insights
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
