Join Lean Tech as a Mid-level Power BI Developer, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and maintaining powerful reporting solutions tailored to the healthcare industry. Your primary responsibility will be to leverage advanced Power BI features such as dashboard interactivity and data transformation with Power Query to deliver actionable insights. You will also have a significant impact by identifying opportunities to automate dashboard creation and data workflows, ultimately improving efficiency and scalability. Collaborating with different teams, you will ensure the seamless rollout of user-friendly Power BI reports, and use your expertise with Snowflake for optimized data connections. A unique challenge of this position is to integrate Power BI into SaaS applications, fostering a seamless user experience that supports critical decision-making processes. 

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance existing Power BI reports, ensuring high quality and performance, while adding advanced BI features as needed.
• Identify and implement opportunities to automate dashboard creation and updates, streamlining data workflows for enhanced efficiency and scalability.
• Lead the rollout of Power BI and reporting solutions to customers, managing user account provisioning, access controls, and secure authentication processes.
• Leverage advanced Power BI features, including DAX and Power Query, to deliver  compelling, interactive, and actionable insights to customers.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, data engineers, and data scientists to align Power BI assets with broader product goals, delivering meaningful healthcare metrics.
• Utilize Snowflake as the primary data source for Power BI, ensuring optimized queries and robust data connections for accurate reporting.
• Ensure Power BI solutions deliver a seamless and intuitive customer experience, assisting users in understanding and interpreting data to drive informed decision-making.

Required Skills & Experience

• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and embedding solutions.
• Strong experience with Snowflake, focusing on query optimization and data transformation for reporting.
• Proficiency in automating report generation and data pipelines/workflows using advanced scripting techniques.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within a product development team.
• Proven problem-solving skills with strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
• Intermediate experience with SQL for supporting data-related tasks and other reporting pipelines.
• Ability to integrate Power BI into SaaS applications and experience with developing seamless user experiences.

Nice to Have Skills

• Certification in data visualization design principles
• Understanding of healthcare claims data and metrics
• Familiarity with customer-centric design methodologies to enhance reporting user experience
• Basic knowledge of APIs related to Power BI and Snowflake for integration purposes
