Data Architect

Key Responsibities•Delivering Business Intelligence & Data Analytics solutions for our customers.•Performing data analysis on analytical requirements and recommending solutions.•Work with both functional and technical project personnel, providing in-depth knowledge of BIinformation delivery/presentation methodology.•Strong ability to extract and document requirements from end users, including leading requirementsgathering workshops•Develop and enforce a data analytics strategy and architecture including System Design, processesand tools.•Architecting BI and data lake / data warehouse solutions on at least five full life cycle large projects ofhigh complexity.•Extensive experience with advanced development concepts: data modeling, data warehouse/ datalake architecture, performance tuning.•Working with onshore/offshore resources to execute client projects
Required skills and qualifications•10+years’ experience with Business Intelligence and Data warehousing.•Hands on skills in project management, architecture, development and Design for data analyticsapplications.•Good understanding of architecture and design for large scale data warehousing/data lakesolutions.•Experience in technical lead position in abased data warehouse engagement: Team co-ordination /Technical design / Development / Testing / User Training / Deployment•Very good knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and Metadata modeling techniques(starschema snowflake, model federated data sources, SCD, etc.) and the application of each of theschemas in business situations•Demonstrated experience with translating business requirements into data analysis and reportingsolutions•Excellent analytical and problem solving skills•Candidate must have prior experience coordinating offshore teams and working in the onsite offshoremodel.•Strong SQL or Spark development skills is required.•Experience in data analysis and data testing.•Experience with ETL tools such as Oracle warehouse builder or Informatica.•Focus on Data Quality issues / problems.
