Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst Lead

AttainX, Inc. is in search of a highly energetic and experienced Business Intelligence Analyst Lead to provide expert leadership and guidance to our federal government client. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting business intelligence operations with dashboards, standardized statistical dataset requirements, supporting dashboard and visualization governance, and collection and maintenance of visualization requirements for development.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related degree and subject. 
• 5+ years of professional experience leading data visualization efforts.
• Experience in project management and leading BI projects.
• Experience in designing and creating interactive dashboards and reports.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, D3.js).
• SQL skills and experience with database management systems.
• Experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to translate complex data sets into clear, compelling narratives and visualizations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to identify key trends, patterns, and insights from data and present them in a visually engaging manner.
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices and principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with enterprise data architectures, analytics platforms, and reporting tools.
• Understanding of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and advanced analytics applications.

• Self-starter, highly motivated individual who adapts to a dynamic work environment.
• Attention to detail with an ability to operate effectively across multiple priorities.

Skills:

Business Intelligence and Governance, Data Visualization, Data Modeling.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferably have USCIS background and client experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
• Post- Graduate Degree in Data Science, Statistics, or Machine Learning preferred.
• Knowledge of federal data policies, compliance requirements, and governance frameworks (e.g., FISMA, OMB M-19-18, Federal Data Strategy).

Duties: 

• Oversee, lead, and manage a team of data visualization specialists.
• Lead and support the development of a data culture through development and delivery of business intelligence products.
• Increase agency-wide capacity to build and deliver business intelligence products on demand to best serve enterprise needs. 
• Support and develop processes for data visualization development and implementation including enterprise-wide standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to communicate visualization goals and objectives to stakeholders across the agency and validate appropriateness and completeness of data visualizations.
• Create and maintain intuitive, engaging, and accurate data visualizations to decision makers at all levels.
• Provide easy to understand insights about data so that stakeholders can make data driven decisions.
• Support the creation of dashboards that use narrative and storytelling and are interactive.
   Train and support stakeholders in understanding and navigating dashboards effectively.
• Collaborate with inter-directorate teams to develop and execute strategies to promote the use of data visualizations.
• Host workshops and training sessions to educate users about our dashboard.
