Primary objectives:

 

Reporting to the Master Data Manager, the ideal candidate will understand and maintain the overall CRUD lifecycle for master data, participate in data migration activities as needed and help to establish data quality controls and governance within the MDM function.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and process requests from Digicel Finance, Technology, and Market teams in relation to master data queries within agreed timelines 
  • Work with Digicel Finance and Technology teams to streamline data in the ERP system for analysis (and migration)
  • Work with the data owners, global process owners (GPOs), and functional/process leads to establish data quality criteria and KPIs
  • Analyze the extracted data against the quality criteria and provide direction to the business and data owners to improve data quality, including enhancing existing BaU processes to improve the quality of the data on entry/update
  • Liaise with the Finance Systems team and Shared Service Centre (SSC) to correct the data quality issues through either automated upload (EIB) of corrections or manual correction
  • Support the data migration & reconciliation processes as needed

 

Academic qualifications and experience required for the job:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or any other related field
  • Two - Three (2-3) years of relevant working experience
  • Relevant experience in a Finance function
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems and MS products, such as Excel and Word
  • Self-starter and organized
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills

  • Ability to interact with leadership, key stakeholders, employees, and clients in a professional manner
