Sr Technical Lead-Data Engg

Data Modeler will be responsible for defining and managing critical data structures for current and future needs. The primary responsibilities are to gather business requirements and translate them into logical data models, and to create technical design specifications including source to target mapping documentation for ETL developers.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design process for new applications, including creating data flows, diagrams, models and prototypes, evaluating risks and defects, analyzing and creating specifications as needed
• Create technical documents and provide technical support and training as needed
• Work closely with systems analysts, software developers, data managers and other team members to ensure successful production of analytical solutions
• Offer viable solutions for various systems and architectures to resolve a variety of business requirements
• Ensuring a seamless integration of new and existing systems to eliminate potential problems and maintain data structure and integrity
• Participate in gathering information from customers or business leaders to meet solution needs
• Collaborate with the development team to design and build the database model
• Develop entity relationships (ER models) for normalized and dimensional models Assist and guide existing Data Modelers and Data Architects
• Technical evaluation for assignments involving existing models for legacy applications and creation of new model in support of application development
• Adjust access to the data and the reports as needed
