Job Title: Technical Delivery Manager

Job Type: (12 months contractual role)

Job Summary:

The Technical Delivery Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering video analytics and security projects and solutions while ensuring quality, timelines, and business goals are met. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical implementation, requiring a strong understanding of technology, project management, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution
• Manage end-to-end solution deployment projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Engineering, Project Management, support) and external partners/vendors.
• Manage local sub-contractors.
• Serve as primary point of contact for any and all matters specific to customers and develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors by understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
• Solution Deployment:
• Lead the deployment of advanced video analytics and security solutions.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure the integration of hardware, software, and services.
• Technical Oversight:
• Lead and troubleshoot high priority incidents impacting the organization, providing timely support to quickly resolve critical incidents.
• Design & enable automated change, release and upgrade management practices across existing products & solutions.
• Ensure compliance with defined IT governance controls, standards, and practices.
• Improve service availability and scalability through tuning, automation, tools, and process.
• Manage 24X7 on-call support.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
• Act as the primary technical contact for customers during the post-sales phases.
• Translate business requirements into actionable technical deliverables.
• Manage expectations, resolve conflicts, and ensure effective communication across all parties.
• Ensure that customer issues are dealt with in an efficient manner.
• Ensure customer requirements and needs are clearly understood, met, and final delivery is made effectively on time.

• Compliance & Security:
• Ensure all solutions comply with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Work with security teams to address potential vulnerabilities and ensure robust security measures are in place.
• Risk and Issue Management
• Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies
• Conduct regular project reviews to assess progress, resolve roadblocks, and implement improvements.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in video analytics, security solutions, or a related field.
• Proven track record of managing complex technical projects and solutions.
• Experience with AI/ML technologies, especially in the context of video data analysis.
• 2+ years of experience in UAE/GCC/Asian market.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in video analytics software and tools (e.g., OpenCV, YOLO, TensorFlow).
• Understanding of security frameworks, encryption methods, and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and edge computing solutions.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A highly detail-oriented and methodical approach to problem solving.
• A passion for technology, troubleshooting and customer service.
• Dari/Pashto/English language is an added advantage
• This role requires travel short term travel to UAE.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in deploying security solutions in critical infrastructure sectors (e.g., finance, healthcare, government).
• Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or security (e.g., CISSP).
