Job Title: DevOps Engineer (L4)

About the Team Our innovative Research and Development team is at the forefront of revolutionizing Home Medical Equipment (HME), Durable Medical Equipment (DME), out-of-hospital care, and home health services. Leveraging cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies, we aim to enhance patient outcomes, streamline caregiver workflows, and drive efficiency across the continuum of care.

Our intelligent solutions are designed to empower caregivers and healthcare providers. By bridging technology and healthcare, we are shaping the future of care delivery, ensuring it is smarter, more efficient, and more impactful.

About the Role, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS Services, GitHub CI/CD workflows, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes. This role will focus on enhancing the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment processes. You will be responsible for driving the adoption of best practices, optimizing workflows, and collaborating across engineering teams to support and improve our infrastructure-as-code and deployment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure on AWS (EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.).

  • CI/CD Pipeline Design & Automation: Architect and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like GitHub Workflows, JFrog, and Docker. Ensure automation of testing, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning.

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize Terraform to build, manage, and automate infrastructure provisioning, ensuring repeatability and consistency across environments.

  • Containerization & Orchestration: Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters or AWS Lambda for application deployment, scaling, and monitoring. Ensure effective use of container technologies such as Docker.

  • Monitoring & Incident Management: Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for both cloud infrastructure and applications. Respond to incidents, resolve root causes, and implement preventive measures. Experience with DataDog is a plus.

  • Collaboration & Leadership: Partner closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery pipelines, code quality, and infrastructure performance. Mentor and guide junior engineers in DevOps practices.

  • Security & Compliance: Ensure cloud infrastructure is secure and compliant with relevant policies (HIPPA, SAC, ect.) and best practices. Implement automation around security checks and vulnerability assessments.

  • Cost Optimization: Analyze cloud usage and provide recommendations for cost optimization strategies, balancing performance, scalability, and budget.

Let’s Talk About You

  • Experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Systems Engineering, with at least 3 years focused on AWS.

  • Proven experience in AWS services (EKS, EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, etc.) and cloud-native architecture.

  • Extensive experience with CI/CD pipeline creation and automation (Preference GitHub workflows).

  • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.

  • Proficient in Kubernetes (both cluster management and application deployment).

  • Experience working with Docker and container orchestration.

  • Skills & Knowledge:

  • Solid understanding of DevOps principles and best practices.

  • Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch, etc.).

  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python).

  • Knowledge of networking principles, including load balancing, DNS, VPC, VPN, and security groups.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Git, etc.).

  • Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Passion for continuous improvement, learning, and sharing knowledge with peers.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda, API Gateway).

  • Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Terraform Associate are a plus.

What You Can Expect

  • A supportive environment that focuses on professional development and best practices.

  • Opportunities to design, influence, and innovate.
