Location 

The office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM, with the possibility for two work from home days a week upon the successful completion of probation. This position will work at the Denver Post Building 101 W Colfax Ave. Denver, CO 80202.

The DCC

The mission of Denver County Court is to administer justice fairly, efficiently, and effectively; provide excellent customer service, and foster a positive environment where employees enjoy their work. The City and County of Denver’s third branch of government is comprised of 19 judges, 4 full-time magistrates, and 300 staff members. Case types include state, civil, small claims, traffic, criminal, and other general sessions cases within the City and County of Denver. The Denver County Court proudly serves the community and continually seeks ways to incorporate procedural fairness and evidence-based practices.

The Division

The Court IT Department team will consist of 5 System Administrators, 4 Developers, 1 Database Administrator, 2 Analysts, IT Supervisor (Infrastructure), and an IT Director. As a small team, we strive to create a culture that fosters open communication, goal orientation and results. The team supports each other while providing a fun environment.

What You'll Do

The Denver County Court (DCC) is seeking a Court Data Management Analyst to join our specialized team. As a Court Data Management Analyst, you can expect to:

  • Be a part of a dynamic, collaborative, and specialized team
  • Assist with completing Colorado Open Records Act requests
  • Assist in performing gap analysis and identifying/implementing process improvements
  • Assist with management of data code tables
  • Assist with review and assess workload impact of proposed and new legislation · Assistance with data compliance, and quality
  • Assistance with CJIS Compliance
  • Test and validate new system developments
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex information, identify patterns, and develop effective solutions
  • Assist with building, reviewing and executing database queries (SQL)

What You'll Bring

  • Knowledge of court procedures, statutes, ordinances, etc
  • Experience writing queries and analyzing complex datasets using SQL and other database tools
  • Experience developing dashboards in Power BI or similar data visualization software

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Education requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, or a related field

  • Experience Requirement: Two (2) years of professional administrative and analytical experience which must have included analyzing management problems and recommending solutions.

  • Education/Experience Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education.

    Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.

  • License/Certifications: Must obtain Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) clearance within the probationary period.
