Job Description

Your daily tasks will include: 

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality VB6, VB.NET, and C# applications for lighting applications.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to clarify requirements and provide technical solutions.

  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.

  • Contribute to team knowledge sharing.

  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve skills and processes

Qualifications

What you will bring: 

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Software development.

  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

  • Proficiency in C# and Revit.

  • Knowledge of database management systems (SQL and NoSQL).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and learning abilities.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

What will be an asset: 

  • Strong preference for education or experience with optical engineering.

  • Familiarity with Desktop Applications/Development.

  • Experience with Agile development practices and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA).

  • Proficiency in VB6,

  • Knowledge of Github actions
