Overview
The Electronics Simulation & Data Analysis team plays a pivotal role in advancing our design and development projects. This internship focuses on:
Assisting with PCB simulation, measurement, and data analysis. Assisting with optical chip-on-carrier (CoC) device simulation, measurement, and data analysis.
You will work closely with experienced engineers to support simulation efforts, perform measurements, and analyze data to drive improvements in electronic design and performance.
Responsibilities
The Electronics Simulation & Data Analysis Intern’s responsibilities would include but are not limited to the following:
- Assisting with PCB simulation and validation.
- Conducting measurements on PCB prototypes and analyzing results.
- Supporting carrier simulation efforts and data analysis for CoC development.
- Collaborating with engineering teams to optimize simulation and testing processes.
- Documenting experimental results and contributing to technical reports.
This internship will be on-site in San Jose, California.
Minimum Qualifications
- Qualified candidates will be enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s degree, or PhD program in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with simulation tools and PCB design software such as HFSS, PADS etc. Familiarity with optical communications and electrooptic device is a bonus.
- Basic experience with measurement instruments and data analysis (using MATLAB, Python, or similar platforms).
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- An interest in electronics design and a proactive approach to learning new technologies.
Pay Range: $27.50 - $53.25/hour
