Data Product Manager (f/m/x)

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Data Product Manager at Mindfuel, you'll empower our clients by shaping data products that deliver tangible business value. You will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring data products meet user needs and strategic business objectives.
You will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of data products, from discovery to delivery. Your role involves detailed user research, creating robust business cases, prioritizing product backlogs, and closely collaborating with UX and development teams to bring products from vision to reality. You ensure alignment and feasibility, driving continuous product improvement through active stakeholder engagement and user feedback.

What will be your responsibility

• Owning and managing the lifecycle of specific data products from inception through delivery
• Driving product discovery and definition by conducting user research to identify clear user needs and opportunities
• Building detailed business cases and managing product backlog prioritization aligned to strategic objectives
• Collaborating closely with UX and technical teams to ensure seamless translation of product requirements into actionable development plans
• Validating technical feasibility ('datability') in coordination with data architects and engineers
• Coordinating product release plans and managing product roadmaps in partnership with the Product Owner
• Preparing and presenting clear, actionable documentation for decision-making across stakeholders
• Gathering and integrating user feedback post-release to ensure continuous product improvement

What you'll need

• 3+ years professional experience in data, AI or IT consulting
• Background in data analytics or data science, with hands-on understanding of data architectures and management
• Strong experience in translating business requirements into clear technical specifications
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• A structured, analytical mindset with a passion for building user-focused products
• Proficiency in German & English (verbal and written)
