As a Senior Analyst - Data Governance, you will be responsible for hands-on execution and maintenance of our master data and for enforcing policies and processes around data attributes. You will support department management by onboarding and training new Analysts and lead the change management process to ensure proper execution of new policies and procedures.  You will be part of a business-enabling team that performs day-to-day activities around maintaining master data of customer, supplier and product domains. You will work with business owners and data management team to help troubleshoot complex data issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Cleanse and enrich large data sets for multiple systems globally to ensure data is complete, accurate, and follows data governance polices required to meet Company standards.
  • Monitors, validates, and executes data and create and change requests in data hub in an accurate and timely manner.  This position will work on larger data sets and review existing data sets to enforce corporate standards.
  • Identifies master data exceptions on large data sets, and further analyzes and resolves exceptions with assistance of management.
  • Conducts data quality audits on large data sets and compiles issues and impacts and then resolves with the with business.
  • Collects, compiles, and analyzes data to measure overall Data Governance KPI’s.
  • Executes data cleansing, data enrichment and testing cycles for ERP upgrades and projects.
  • Performs complex statistical and relational analysis of large data sets to identify and correct inconsistencies.
  • Participates in governance projects to identify and implement process improvements and increase efficiency.
  • Trains and assigns short term data cleansing project work to Analysts and consolidates the work for submission.
  • Author and update standard operating procedures, training guides, and quick reference guides.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree - Technology or Business; Master’s Degree preferred
  • 4-6 years experience in a financial or data management area
  • 2-4 years experience in handling and manipulation of large data sets
  • 2-4 years experience working with data domain and business operations
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Word.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer system applications:  Oracle Applications, Mainframe, Informatica
  • Strong understanding of data structures and advanced skills with master data management and data tools.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills with a positive disposition.
  • Must be proactive and self-motivated with the ability to create and produce through collaboration and teamwork, with minimal supervision.
  • Managing and organizing large amounts of data.
  • The ability to assign work to peers and to drive the change management process across areas they support.
  • Strong attention to detail with a passion for accuracy.
  • Reliable with strong organizational skills and solution-oriented philosophy.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects, deadlines, and demonstrate a willingness to accept new challenges.
  • Willingness to accommodate temporary working hour changes as required by workflow and deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management to accomplish goals and objectives.
  • Knowledge of data-related regulatory requirements globally and emerging trend preferred.
  • Knowledge of project planning, LEAN and Agile processes preferred.
