Senior Data Engineer

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• SQL - Advanced
• Source to target mapping (STM) - Advanced
• Create STMs documents from scratch, working with other teams and multiple sources for making data mapping/standards that will be used for product development and stakeholder onboarding.
• System analysis - AdvancedRequirements gathering - AdvancedExperience working with stakeholders to understand necessities (requirements) and create documents to follow up with business and engineering teams.  

• Stakeholders management (communication, follow up, interactions) - Advanced

Onboard new users/stakeholder to the functionality of the product, building relationships with the final users and other teams to gain trust on the product

• Databricks - Intermediate
• This skill could be nice to have if the candidate has experience on other Data warehouses, for example: Snowflake, BigQuery, and Azure synapse.
• ETL validation/Data validation - Advanced
• Data validation around quality, integrity, values, etc. through the different environments and layers
• Negotiation Skills - Advanced
• Self-organized/Leadership - Advanced
• Scrum framework (estimates, AC, Stories description, etc.) - Intermediate
• Familiar with the scrum framework, also the candidates must have experience creating user stories for engineering teams.

Activities: 

• Analyze complex biz problems & issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. 
• Deep understanding of data warehousing, development/support processes. Analyze data: accuracy, quality, usability & consistency.
• Work with Biz and Product teams to outline requirements and translate them into engineering stories.
• Support stakeholders in the platform adoption.
• Analyze bugs reported by users.
• Maintain STMs up to date.
• Data validation through the different layers and environments to avoid bugs injections.
