We are looking for an analytics engineer to drive data analytics for the Solana ecosystem and empower P2P.org with reliable, actionable insights. In this role, you’ll focus on building and optimizing data marts for the Solana ecosystem, ensuring end-to-end data integrity and quality.

The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical expertise and business acumen, turning complex datasets into meaningful narratives that support decision-making and unlock new growth opportunities. Responsibilities

• Develop automated Solana-related data processing pipelines as well as optimize/refactor existing pipelines. Establish data lineage from sources to reporting.

• Ensure data is available for newly launched networks. This includes searching and researching data sources, writing data collectors independently or defining tasks for the DE/data indexation team.

• Manage data quality by developing tests and alerting to notify the team and integrate with our data incident process.

• Contribute to the overall data architecture of the data department by providing pipelines for the Solana ecosystem.

• Create informative dashboards for the team, company, and community.

• Perform research and ad-hoc analysis across networks including Solana, Neon, Pythnet, Tezos, and Monad.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

• Competence with the analytical Python stack or other programming languages.

• Experience working with ETL instruments such as Airflow and dbt.

• Proficiency in advanced SQL, including different joins and window expressions (utilizing Google BigQuery).

• Advanced knowledge of visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Superset, Looker)

• Knowledge of data modeling techniques.

• Data storytelling skills and the ability to form and defend opinions with data beyond reasonable doubt.

• Fluent in English: B2+

• Knowledge in cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology is considered a plus!

• Nice to have: Data research skills, including probability theory and statistics, and the ability to work with models like regressions and A/B tests.
