Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Cloud Platform Engineer to support the migration of existing pipelines to new standards using Harness. This initial phase is expected to last 2-4 months, after which the engineer will contribute to various cloud-related projects involving Machine Learning (ML) capabilities, platform stabilization, and infrastructure optimization. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated junior engineer looking to gain hands-on experience in cloud technologies, ML integrations, and system reliability improvements.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist in migrating existing pipelines to Harness to align with new standards.

• Implement Machine Learning (ML) capabilities in OpenSearch and Prometheus/Grafana.

• Contribute to the stabilization of the OpenSearch platform to improve performance and reliability.

• Expand support for additional programming languages, such as Node.js.

• Enhance log storage resilience by segregating logs into multiple clusters.

• Troubleshoot and optimize cloud infrastructure components to improve efficiency and scalability.

• Collaborate with onsite and remote teams to drive project success.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• AWS experience is required; experience with Harness is a plus but not mandatory.

• Strong analytical skills to assess infrastructure issues and provide solutions efficiently.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

• A proactive approach to learning and applying new cloud technologies.

Role-specific Requirements:

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

• Experience with logging and monitoring tools like OpenSearch, Prometheus, and Grafana.

• Interest or experience in ML integrations within cloud environments.
