Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

Anduril's Revenue Strategy & Operations team is seeking a Manager with a strong background in mathematics, statistics, or econometrics. This individual will be instrumental in driving revenue growth and operational efficiency by applying sophisticated quantitative methods to our forecasting, strategic planning, and decision-making processes. Given our rapid growth and the uniquely challenging problems we tackle as a business, this role will naturally gravitate toward finding solutions and will be adept at navigating organizational hurdles. The ability to build trust quickly in a fast-paced environment and execute with high dependability is critical to success in this role.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Apply statistical techniques, such as Monte Carlo simulations and other probabilistic modeling, to perform advanced analysis on our forecasts
  • Enhance and refine existing probability models by leveraging Bayesian principles to systematically account for uncertainty, enabling more robust and informed decision-making under conditions of variability and incomplete information.
  • Develop and implement innovative analytical approaches to bridge our demand data with tangible business outcomes, influencing resource allocation and strategic planning
  • Work closely with FP&A, Business Development, and Business Operations to identify business challenges and develop data-driven solutions
  • Develop and deliver clear, data-driven presentations to leadership, transforming complex datasets into narratives that influence strategic choices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years experience in a role with a strong emphasis on statistical or econometric analysis, preferably at a hedge fund, economic consultancy, or in a data analytics role at a high-growth technology company.
  • Proficient in applying statistical and mathematical models to complex business forecasting and data analysis challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable insights, with a focus on enhancing forecast accuracy and guiding strategic decisions.
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical software and programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for conducting rigorous analyses.
  • Solid foundation in statistical theory and the application of probabilistic models in a business context.
  • Proven aptitude for rapidly learning new methodologies and translating quantitative findings into strategic business initiatives.
  • Proven track record of being self-driven and relentlessly proactive. You don’t wait on others to solve problems, you proactively step into the gap to propose solutions yourself.
  • Ownership mentality with a natural bias to assume responsibility. We empower our team to quickly assume high levels of responsibility and entrust them to actively own projects and shape their success.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced degree in data science, mathematics, statistics, or econometrics
