Job Description
Join our Data, Technology, Automation and Testing (DTAT) consulting team as a Director, where your extensive commercial experience and robust consulting background will be pivotal in shaping innovative solutions for our clients in the financial services sector. With over a decade of experience and a well-established network of clients, you'll spearhead our endeavours to leverage data and technology for business transformation.
Your role will be multifaceted, combining strategic leadership with commercial acumen, client engagement, and expertise in data and technology. You will drive revenue growth by identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities and forging strong client relationships. You will collaborate closely with other domains within our consulting business and lead a team of skilled professionals, including data analysts, data scientists, and technical consultants, to deliver innovative, high-impact solutions that address complex data and technology challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain deep relationships with key client stakeholders and delivery teams.
Demonstrate commercial acumen by identifying, securing, and expanding client opportunities to fuel the growth of our DTAT consulting practice.
Develop and implement strategies to maximise revenue growth and profitability, including driving proposals and identifying business opportunities within existing and new clients.
Proven commercial experience in developing and delivering client propositions that harness emerging technologies, from AI and Cloud to Quantum computing.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Consulting leadership to develop campaigns and respond to RFPs.
Lead and mentor a team of skilled professionals, including data analysts and technical business analysts, to tackle complex data and technology challenges.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge-sharing within our data and technology teams.
Stay updated with the latest technologies and innovative ways of working to incorporate cutting-edge solutions into client projects.
Requirements
Key Skills:
Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of business development and contract negotiation.
Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute plans that drive revenue growth.
Extensive experience in data and technology consulting, particularly within financial services or related industries.
Solid experience in RFPs, commercials, and expanding client opportunities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with clients and internal teams.

Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client’s policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our client’s now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require.
