The Senior Product Manager at Children's National Hospital will maximize business value through strategic product management and technology delivery. This role involves creating and owning features that drive the product vision, aligning with organizational goals, and leading the development of technical design and user experience. The Senior Product Manager oversees the entire product lifecycle, manages external dependencies, and leads cross-functional teams. With a strategic focus, this role leverages insights and metrics to drive continuous improvement and achieve business outcomes.

 

Qualifications

 

Minimum Education

• Bachelor's Degree A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/statistical or business field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science). (Required)
• Master's Degree Masters preferred. (Preferred)

Minimum Work Experience

• 7 years of related experience, or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position. (Required)

Required Skills/Knowledge

• Experience in a heavily regulated industry, with healthcare experience being a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of product management, with proven strategic impact.
• Extensive experience working with global, distributed, and multicultural teams.
• Strong background in agile methodologies and leadership.
• Experience in leading the development, delivery, and maintenance of complex, production-ready products.
• Expertise in statistical data analysis and machine learning, including advanced techniques and models such as time series forecasting, neural networks, and NLP.
• Expertise in Python for advanced modeling and use of machine learning/statistical packages.
• Strong experience with database skills, including SQL, NoSQL, and ETL coding.

Functional Accountabilities

• Identify and prioritize key feature enhancements, managing the roadmap for maximum impact.
• Lead cross-functional teams, including UX, in driving technical design and delivery.
• Define and implement comprehensive success metrics and measurement plans
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle with a high degree of autonomy.
• Write and manage detailed specs, user stories, and test scripts.
• Identify, align, and manage external dependencies and drive strategic conversations independently.
• Serve as a thought leader and go-to expert within the team.
• Solve complex problems, lead group meetings, and partner with executives on product strategy.
• Use advanced analytics to address and resolve user issues, driving strategic improvements.
• Build and sustain high-performing teams, manage technology resourcing, and transform user feedback into strategic actions.
• Proactively solves problems, achieves results and maintains strong relationships.
