Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in overseeing the planning, design, development, and deployment of software in collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will leverage the principles of continuous integration and deployment, automated testing systems, and application containerization to ensure efficient and seamless operations.

• Lead DevOps Initiatives: Oversee and manage the DevOps team to ensure efficient and seamless operations.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
• Automation Opportunities: Work closely with development teams to identify and implement automation opportunities.
• Infrastructure Management: Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• System Monitoring: Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and participate in on-call rotations.
• Scalability and Performance: Continuously improve the scalability and performance of our systems.
• Security Best Practices: Ensure system security through the use of best-in-class cloud security solutions.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related fields, with a strong track record of managing and deploying applications.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with DevOps tools and technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, ArgoCD, and Tekton.
• Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
• CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline management.
• Infrastructure as Code: Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• System Monitoring: Experience with system monitoring and troubleshooting tools, including Prometheus and Grafana.
• Security Best Practices: Knowledge of security best practices and risk management.
• Collaboration Skills: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and mentor junior DevOps engineers.
• Soft Skills: A proactive, self-starting nature with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
