Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Data Management Analyst to join the Consumer Domain Data Quality Team supporting Consumer Lending and Business Banking. This is an individual contributor role supporting the Data Quality Deficiency Framework. In this role you will act the Portfolio Leader for Line of Business corrections of data quality issues and defects.
In this role, you will:
- Manage the research, insights and data quality strategies and governance for a cross functional area with impact across business lines and some companywide impact.
- Develop strategies for mitigating risk to data across business products and data stores, including analyzing impacts, estimating resource requirement, identify key milestones and timeliness, and documenting associated processes and procedures.
- Establish Data Quality Governance Model through collaborates with owners and key stakeholders to document the end-to-end defect and resolution path, including completion timeframes, evidence to support resolution and approvals.
- Manage timely execution of task and escalates delays and/or obstacles with Sr. Leadership
- Ensure data quality defects are accurately and timely documented in the system of record with appropriate and complete documentation and supporting evidence.
- Collaborate with Enterprise, Control and Audit functions to ensure Data Governance strategies align with Enterprise policies and standards, as well as relevant regulatory or legislative requirements.
- Ensure emerging technologies align with Data Quality Governance requirements.
- Provide leadership in establishing data and metadata quality goals.
- Ensure the design and implementation of initiatives to achieve those goals within assigned line of business or businesses.
- Manage the development of audits and controls structured around business processes and data quality target state, and standards for metadata content and documentation.
- Provide leadership in developing and ensuring adherence to a data integrity governance framework.
- Collaborate with business partners to achieve consistent agreement and application of definitions, measurements, and interpretation.
- Serve as liaison to leadership to ensure data integrity strategy is aligned with business strategy.
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives.
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy.
- Facilitate Data Quality Defect Identification and Intake for the Consumer Domain
- Manage Data Quality defects through their lifecycle to remediation and closure.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement strategies for adherence to Data Management policy and procedures.
- Develop and execute strategies for prioritization of data quality issues and defects.
- Manage operational execution of activities related to all stages of the defect lifecycle.
- Partner across the firm to ensure consistency on companywide remediation efforts.
- Establishes working groups and facilitate Data Quality Executive Reviews

Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 7+ years combined experience of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of Data Quality, Data Governance, Technology experience within Financial Services
- 2+ years of experience with BI tools including but not limited to SAS, Dremio, SQL, Tableau, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a combination of education and relevant experience
- Understanding data management and data governance regulations and policies
- Banking or Financial Sector Risk and/or Control Job Experience
- Experience preparing presentations and analysis for third-party and regulatory audiences
- Proven ability to take initiative, influence others, and develop strong partnerships
