Contributions

We are looking for seasoned Data Scientist to work with our existing team of Data Architects and Developers to develop strategies, create ML/AI solutions, and deliver results. We are looking for a more than just a “Data Scientist”,but a technologist with excellent communication and customer service skills and a passion for data and problem solving.

• Experience modeling on structured and unstructured data sets
• Experience with exploratory data analysis
• Experience in feature engineeringExperience in data visualization
• Experience with Python and SQL
• Experience with Deep Learning methodology and state of the art libraries
• Knowledge of data collection methods, capabilities, and tasking process
• Knowledge of Neo4j
• Knowledge of criminal justice, grants, research arenas
• Ability to leverage multiple data management tools to organize relevant information and make decisions
• Support an Agile software development lifecycle
• You will contribute to the growth of our Data Exploitation Practice

Qualifications

• US Citizen Only
• Ability to hold a position of public trust with the US government.
• 5+ years industry experience developing ML/AI solutions and a passion for solving complex problems.
• 3+ years direct experience in Data Modeling and Data Solution Development

Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000.  The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
