As the Technical Lead in the Vanguard Enterprise Security and Fraud Team, specializing in GenAI Solutions, you will be at the forefront of devising and implementing cutting-edge generative AI, LLMOps, and MLOps strategies to enhance our security and fraud detection capabilities. Your leadership and technical expertise will be vital in transforming complex business needs into robust, innovative solutions that integrate seamlessly into Vanguard’s operations, thereby elevating our security posture and fraud prevention mechanisms.

Your role will involve leading the vision, strategy, and execution of new GenAI products, solutions, and services, tailored specifically to combat security threats and fraud. By leveraging your experience in data science and expertise in deploying hybrid large language models (LLMs) and interactive AI capabilities on hybrid cloud infrastructures, you will drive the development of best-in-class security solutions. Collaborating cross-functionally, you will design and deliver these innovative solutions, ensuring that they not only meet but exceed our operational requirements and customer expectations. From the initial design to productization, your guidance will ensure the incorporation of best practices and state-of-the-art tools, making our Enterprise Security and Fraud Team a leader in the industry.

 Technical Lead – AI/ML Specialist:

  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to gather and analyze security and fraud detection requirements; help to defines the architectural blueprint for Generative AI, LLMOps, and MLOps solutions to address these challenges.
  • Leads the development and deployment strategy for scalable and secure AI platforms, applications, and systems tailored for security and fraud prevention across diverse cloud environments and computing platforms.
  • Oversees the creation and maintenance of technical and configuration documentation for a broad audience, including internal teams, partners, and customers, ensuring clarity and accessibility of information related to security and fraud detection AI solutions.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor while continuously enhancing knowledge in AI, machine learning, security, and fraud detection technologies.
  • Integrates and customizes advanced machine learning algorithms and technologies, such as anomaly detection models, to strengthen Vanguard’s security and fraud detection capabilities. Utilizes statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to identify and evaluate opportunities for enhancing security measures and fraud prevention strategies.
  • Designs and oversees A/B testing for statistical models and machine learning algorithms, ensuring the continuous optimization and effectiveness of security and fraud detection systems.
  • Conducts rigorous code reviews and oversees the design of algorithms and models, performing experiments to validate the functionality and performance of security and fraud detection AI solutions.
  • Engages in special projects focused on advancing Vanguard’s security and fraud detection capabilities, exploring new technologies and methodologies in the field of AI and machine learning.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed, contributing to the team’s success and the evolution of Vanguard’s security and fraud prevention efforts.

What it takes:

  • Experience with Generative AI
  • Skilled in designing and refining conversational AI prompts to optimize performance, accuracy, and user engagement.
  • Experienced in iterative testing and analysis of AI-generated content to ensure alignment with project goals and ethical standards.
  • 3+ years of experience in building scalable, production-level Machine Learning systems, covering aspects from requirements analysis, design, planning, implementation, testing, to deployment.
  • 5+ years of experience in writing production software in Python and deploying production workloads using AWS cloud managed services.
  • 2+ years of experience with DevOps practices, containerization, and orchestration tools, including expertise in CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • 2+ years of experience in writing data processing pipelines using SQL, Spark, and Kafka
  • Proficient in Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) processes and associated technical concerns.
  • Holds a master’s degree.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect and Machine Learning Engineer certifications
