Data Engineering Intern

 

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team. As a Data Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to the development of our data infrastructure.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and ensure data quality and integrity.
• Support the implementation of data models and database schemas.
• Participate in data integration and migration projects.
• Monitor and optimize data workflows for performance and scalability.
• Document data engineering processes and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of SQL and database management systems.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
