Job Description:
Consultants for Reston, VA location. Engage directly with clients to help them understand their statistical data and how it relates to business objectives. Independently work with clients to diagnose their business needs and translate them into actionable solutions. Conduct quantitative analyses (e.g. data investigations, UI analyses, data model assessments) in a defect-free manner to provide valuable insights for clients. Construct data forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and advanced market knowledge. Modify and adapt our statistical analytics solutions to meet client needs. Present project proposals to clients in an efficient manner that makes complex ideas simple and translates findings into measurable, data-driven actions. Responsible for the smooth and efficient delivery of products in the Marketing Solutions portfolio while balancing client satisfaction, timing, and budget targets. Develop project scopes, project plans, risk mitigation strategies, and manage the daily implementation commensurate with project management and best practices. Technical Environment: Visualization and data analysis in R; Advanced queries in SQL; Machine Learning in R; Data analysis in Python; SAS SQL Tableau; Looker Studio; JIRA; Confluence; SPSS; MTA; MMM; Predictive Analysis & Data Mining; Digital Marketing Analytics; Applied Financial Decision-Making.
Job Requirement:
Master’s degree in Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field plus 2 years of experience with data analytics and building statistical models required. Required Skills: Visualization and data analysis in R; Advanced queries in SQL; Machine Learning in R; Data analysis in Python; SAS SQL Tableau; Looker Studio; JIRA; Confluence; SPSS; MTA; MMM; Predictive Analysis & Data Mining; Digital Marketing Analytics; Applied Financial Decision-Making. Some telecommuting permitted.

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $95,700/yr - $118,000/yr. annually. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may also be eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
