Job Description Summary

As the Manager of Patient Access Planning & Reporting, you will oversee Patient Access Data Analytics and Reporting Operations. Reporting to the Associate Director of Patient Access Strategy & Planning, you will collaborate with leadership to ideate, scope, structure, and deliver analytics that solve business problems using tools like Snowflake, SQL, Python, R and BI tools such as Tableau, Tableau Bridge and Prep, PowerBI, Excel and Powerpoint. You must have experience in reporting and dashboard design, automation and ETL including, identifying business opportunities and use-cases and sourcing, ingesting, cleaning, processing and quality-checking data and deliverables. You will apply advanced analytical skills, data-science, machine learning, project management and business acumen to assess project benefits and identify opportunities and deliver high-quality analytics to various stakeholders including internal Patience Access teams, Sales, Marketing, IT and others. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams as well as external partners to complete your projects. You will use all available tools and resources to evaluate business and operational performance as well as customer behavior and market insights and provide comprehensive recommendations to move the business forward.

Job Description

You must have experience in reporting and dashboard design, automation and ETL including, identifying business opportunities and use-cases and sourcing, ingesting, cleaning, processing and quality-checking data and deliverables. Managing Analytics & Reporting Development

  • Under instruction by AD, deliver, manage, improve and automate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports and dashboards to various business leaders and teams and as well as gather requirements for new reports and dashboard and complete ad-hoc analytics requests
  • Provide support and vendor management of a ConnectiveRx Tableau reporting platform used for Endo’s Sales Reps and Field Reimbursement Managers (FRMs)  
  • Support and act as reporting and analytics lead between the Patience Access team and its stakeholders across the Sales, Sales Ops, IT, FRMs and other vendors and partners such as ConnectiveRx, CVS, Besse, Everest, Cognizant, Begohou and others
  • Provide new employees with access to and training to use the Tableau, CVS portals and CRx portals
  • Create new and maintain existing recurring reports and develop new queries and data visualizations to help identify business issues and solutions
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for updated or new reporting structures
  • Develop end-user training materials and communications relative to Patient Access reporting
  • Support and facilitate training and roll-out of new reporting structures

Reporting Ecosystem Management and Support

  • Manage and provide process focused analytics support to Patient Access including debugging, monitoring and troubleshooting BI solutions
  • Support the management of the FRM Escalation Portal and Patient Access Mailbox and assist in responding to inquiries from the field force and management
  • Perform data investigations, model and dig into data from various sources such as the commercial data warehouse, specialty pharmacies, specialty distributors, and benefits investigation partners
  • Provide ongoing analytical and technical support of existing data sources, data integration, operational reports and dashboards submitted through various channels
  • Design and conduct Ad-hoc analyses when required and under tight deadlines
  • Assist leadership with presentations and reports to various stakeholders
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline, such as statistics, mathematics, science, IT, or engineering
  • In lieu of a Master’s degree, 5+ years of analytics experience preferable within the Pharmaceutical industry
  • Ability to work independently, problem-solve and act resourcefully to complete projects and tasks with minimal support when necessary
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in gathering complex reporting requirements, designing and implementing insightful visualization solutions using business intelligence tools such as Tableau and PowerBI
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years or more experience and proficiency with common, popular database technologies and programs including Snowflake, SQL Server, Python and R
  • Must be an expert level user in Tableau, Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  •  Prior experience in patient services in a complex reimbursement environment is a plus
  • Previous experience managing and working with vendor teams is desirable

Knowledge

  • Extensive knowledge of data architecture and ETL principles and best practices
  • Knowledge of the reporting and analytics full life-cycle from requirements gathering, design, build, test and deploy  
  • Knowledge and understanding of the pharmaceutical development process and health care environment is desirable

  • Experience with data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence and statistics is required
  • Must enjoy working with data and providing guidance and insights to business users

  • Must be able to think strategically and have the ability to identify business opportunities and lead/guide others
  • Must be able to manage multiple complex initiatives and collaborate with others
  • Ability to synthesize/analyze diverse information, develop and recommend strategies
