Lead Data Analyst - Permanent contract - Barcelona

At papernest, Business is the heart of what we do and that's how we organize our data team. As a Lead Data Analyst, you'll be a member of the data partnerships team, helping the B2B2C - SMB business unit to improve its performance using the right data.

At Partnerships Analytics, we :

• Aim at improving the efficiency and the profitability of the partnerships business unit
• Organize the data pipeline around teams and employees, agencies and partners, and leads, so we can easily understand the performance and set up more complex analysis.
• Analyze and model the behavior of our partners, developing forecasting models and business plans.
• Provide alerting and visual tools such as dashboards to make strategic analysis easy.
• Study our sales force, helping designing their structure, analyzing their performance
• They analyze and optimize B2B2C lead performance, leveraging product, operations, and CRM data to improve the P&L of the business unit.

Your role :

• You’ll provide data and analysis for the sales SMB team, helping to improve the efficiency and profitability of a team of more than 150 people.
• You’ll work in a challenging, dynamic and rewarding work environment, your coworkers are brilliant and will make you better. A lot of responsibilities: supported, not micromanaged, you'll manage a team of 2/3 data analysts
• You'll work with a lot of stakeholders (Sales Team, Ops team, other data analysts, Data Engineers, product, etc.)

Project examples :

• Help to build and track SMB business plan for a several million euro budget
• Sales volume forecasting, based on our staffing and past efficiency
• Datamarts and dashboards to provide the right information at the right moment.
• Scoring models of partners, customers, and workforce
• GenAI speech and sales analytics
• Churn Models
• Ad-hoc analysis to measure and guide business initiatives
• Responsible for data reliability and consistency in all phases, transformation, aggregation, and exposure through tables, dashboards and, sheets
• Refactoring of dashboard and the data pipeline

Our data stack is modern and you'll get to use tools for :

• Complex SQL (BigQuery)
• Data pipeline (dbt)
• Git
• Github
• Data visualization (Looker Studio)
• ML (Python, ML FLow, Vertex AI)
• GenAI (Gemini et open AI)

Your profile : 

Required:

• 3+ years of experience in a demanding environment, in a position combining business and analytical skills
• 3+ years of experience in data modeling and data visualization
• Business or engineering school
• SQL proficiency
• Looking for impacting the business, persistent and with good prioritization skills
• Fluent in English

Preferred :

• Fluency in Spanish or French
• Previous management experience of a small team
• Double track Engineering/Business
• Experience with BigQuery and DBT
• Previous experience with a large sales or operations team
• Past experience in project management, or in management consulting
