AttainX, Inc. is in search of a highly energetic and experienced Data Visualization Specialist, Data Management, to support data support services initiative for our US Federal Government client. You will strengthen data management practices to enhance the quality and reusability of client data. This role will focus on transforming complex datasets into intuitive, visually appealing, and insightful dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will have data visualization skills, experience with data management, best practices, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in data visualization, dashboard development, and data management.
• Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or other data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience working with large datasets, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Familiarity with Python, R, or JavaScript (D3.js) for custom visualization development is a plus.
• Understanding of data governance, data security, and compliance standards.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively.
• Meticulous with a problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have or able to obtain USCIS security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferably have USCIS background and client experience.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Snowflake.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles for data visualization.
• Deep knowledge of federal data policies, compliance requirements, and governance frameworks (e.g., FISMA, OMB M-19-18, Federal Data Strategy).

 Duties: 

• Identify and advocate for opportunities to improve data integrity.
• Provide support for clear, coherent, accessible, accurate, and timely data quality visualizations to all levels of USCIS to be used in decision-making.
• Design data quality monitoring visualization dashboards that include clear design, meaningful content, and user-centric functionality.
• Perform and use functional segmentation analysis for planning stakeholder engagement and workshops on dashboard design.
• Support identification of data quality gaps and non-compliance with standards through visualizations.
• Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, D3.js, or similar technologies.
• Work with structured and unstructured data sources to create insightful visual representations that support business objectives.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency by implementing data management best practices.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data engineers, and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and optimize data presentation.
• Design and implement ETL processes, data models, and schemas to support visualization efforts.
• Conduct data cleaning, transformation, and aggregation to ensure usability and performance of dashboards.
• Optimize dashboard performance and usability for various stakeholders.
• Provide training and documentation to help end users interpret and interact with dashboards.
• Stay updated with industry trends, new visualization tools, and best practices.
