Senior Data Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Independently lead and deliver end-to-end data analysis projects, from defining the scope and objectives to presenting actionable insights to key stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
  • Conduct in-depth data exploration, identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Develop and maintain predictive models and dashboards to support business forecasting and decision-making.
  • Translate complex data analysis findings into clear, concise, and impactful presentations and reports for a variety of audiences, including senior management.
  • Effectively communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders across different departments.
  • Mentor and guide junior data analysts, providing technical guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of data analysis methodologies and best practices within the team.
  • Foster a collaborative and data-driven culture within the team.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data analysis lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data analytics, data science, and machine learning technologies.
  • Research and evaluate new tools and technologies that can enhance the company's data capabilities.
    • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and other data analysis and programming languages.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst with a proven track record of success in delivering high-impact data analysis projects.

Technical Skills: 

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Expertise in statistical modeling techniques, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling.
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.

 

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 42,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 147,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
This position is available for independent contractors
