The Opportunity 

We are looking for a driven and strategic Data Analyst to join our Data Collection team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of utility data intelligence by influencing the data we rely on, developing advanced measurement tools, and generating insightful statistics.

This is your chance to make a meaningful impact in the construction-tech and infrastructure planning industries by contributing to the creation of the first Single Source of Utility Data across the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain tools and automations developed by the team to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Collect and process web datasets for seamless integration into the company database.
• Design, build, and maintain BI dashboards using Tableau (or other visualization tools) to deliver actionable insights.
• Conduct advanced data searches and collect and analyze data across multiple platforms and sources.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, or equivalent experience from the army.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in Python for data manipulation and analysis (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
• Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience building ETL processes 
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• High motivation, curiosity, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Previous experience with geo ecosystems - advantage
