Senior DevOps Engineer

The DevOps & AI Enablement Team is responsible for delivering comprehensive DevOps solutions to Thomson Reuters technology teams. 
As a Senior Software Development Engineer at Thomson Reuters, you will be instrumental in advancing our infrastructure and processes with a focus on automation, reliability, and efficiency. You will work closely with development and operations teams to architect, implement, and maintain scalable and resilient systems, leveraging the latest in cloud technologies and DevOps practices. This role requires a passion for learning and applying new technologies, including AI and machine learning.

About the role:

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using C# or Python.
• Design and implement test automation frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
• Create, manage, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development and deployment process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our processes and products.

About you:

• Proven experience in software development and automation using C# or Python.
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools.
• Basic understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Azure Bicep or CloudFormation.

Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog.
