Senior Data Warehouse Engineer

About The Role
This role requires close collaboration with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to build an efficient, robust machine learning infrastructure to support risk analysis and modeling requirements. The individual should be versatile, have experience in data science and software engineering, and a solid understanding of infrastructure to tackle complex problems at large scales. The individual will apply their knowledge of machine learning techniques to deploy real-time, production-level models, significantly contributing to our operations. This role demands self-drive, strong ownership, and excellent communication skills.

What You Will Do

• Data Modeling: Design and implement data models to support analytics for various business needs
• Data Quality Assurance: Perform data quality checks, troubleshoot data-related issues, and implement measures to improve data quality
• Performance Optimization: Identify and rectify bottlenecks in data processes, and enhance workflows for improved performance, scalability, and efficiency
• Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different offices (Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Analysts, Software Engineers) to understand data requirements and contribute to data engineering process and solution documentation
• Data Governance: Adhere to the company’s data governance guidelines and best practices for data engineering, including security, compliance, and privacy standards
• Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with emerging trends, tools, and technologies in the data engineering and cloud computing domain.

What You Will Need

• Minimum of 4+ years of professional data warehouse developer experience
• Experience with BigQuery or other cloud-based DataWarehouses
• Experience with AirflowProficiency in Python and SQL
• Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership, ability to work independently to solve problems and develop solutions

About The TeamOur data team is part of GoToFinancial Consumer Lending and mainly supports two products: GopayLater and GopayPinjam. The team includes members from offices in Jakarta, Singapore, and Bangalore. We collaborate closely with the Risk, Finance, Growth, and Product teams, assisting them with their data requests on a daily basis.
