POSITION:                 Senior Big Data Engineer

JOB LOCATION:       208 S. Akard St., Dallas, Texas 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]

Senior Big Data Engineer needed by AT&T Services, Inc. in Dallas, Texas [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to produce batch and real time data pipelines for network and NLP based use cases for data scientists and other developers. Develop domain expertise and opportunities to expand role into additional facets of data insights including modeling, extensive cloud-based environment architecting, and software development. Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and new products used in distributed large-scale analytics and visualization solutions. Interact with data scientists and industry experts to understand how data needs to be converted, loaded, and presented. Work in a highly agile environment. Aggregate multiple disparate datasets to create datasets for modelling and feature creation consumption. Work on the development of high performance, scalable, and distributed computing tasks using java, scala, and python. Utilize Python, Scala, Java, And Sql. Design large distributed scalable machine learning (ML) systems in the cloud (Azure, AWS). Apply experience with Azure Cloud services. Communicate with all levels of management, understand business requirements, and define project roadmaps. Apply knowledge of machine learning tools including H2O and databricks and technologies.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Engineering and 4 years of experience in the job offered or 4 years of experience in a related occupation utilizing Python, Scala, Java, And Sql; designing large distributed scalable machine learning (ML) systems in the cloud (Azure, AWS); applying experience with Azure Cloud services; communicating with all levels of management, understanding business requirements, and defining project roadmaps; and applying knowledge of machine learning tools including H2O and databricks and technologies.

Our Senior Big Data Engineers earn between $137,235 - $210,100 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
